Jim Thompson

James Harrison Wilson "Jim" Thompson (born March 21, 1906 in Greenville, Delaware - unknown) was an American businessman who helped revitalize the Thai silk and textile industry in the 1950s and 1960s. A former U.S. military intelligence officer who once worked for the Office of Strategic Services.
Jim Thompson was the youngest of five children of Henry and Mary Thompson, a wealthy Delaware couple. Jim's father was involved in the textile business. Jim was educated at St. Paul's School and Princeton University. Though Thompson studied architecture at the University of Pennsylvania, he never received his degree and was therefore unable to pass the NY Architecture Board examination. Nevertheless, he practiced in New York City with Holden McLaughlin, designing summer homes and a band shell in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
During the 1930s, he led an active social life and sat on the board of the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo, all the while becoming more politically active. His increasingly liberal politics alienated him from his wealthy Republican family, and by 1940 he had sought escape from them by military service, first in the Delaware National Guard and then in the Officer Training Corps of the United States Army.

Anr

Anr, a brainchild of an acclaimed top Thailand fashion designer named Anurak Thangsomboon, is uniqur for well-known or its own signature of pattern and design.
Every collection of Anr clothes is a fruitful combination of crossover cultures; a perfect mixture of spiritual accent of the East and glossy modernity of the west. Better still, detail of Anurak’s dress appealingly reflects the unlikely juxtaposition of modernity and classicality.
Anr is a day-to-day wearable clothes for men and women, not pieces of exaggeration from catwalk.
Anr present new collections twice a year, summer and winter.

Senada

Senada Philsophy - We believe that fashion is a lifestyle expression. Not just about trends or a cartain “look”, fashion involves a whole range of attitude, mood, and personality. Honoring the individual spirit, our collections offer innovative options that complement one’s own distinctive style. Never dictating a singular trend, we create fashion that embraces each woman’s unique character. Our designs aim not only to sell, but to inspire women on the art of dressing. Don’t be afraid to experiment and have fun, because “to be beautiful is to be yourself”
Senada Design Inspiration - A fusion of vintage romance, ethic charm, and savvy street style, our designs are both feminine and cutting-edge. Drawing from everyday life we transform ordinary elements into something totally new. An old ceramics’ design becomes exquisite embroidery, grandma’s tablecloth inspires a kitschy dress pattern, and old textiles reconstruct into hip streetwear. Common objects gain a fresh new life through the Senada vision. In homage to tradition, we incorporate a range of ethic influences in our designs. Indian embroidery, Chinese silks, and Thai patterns transform into contemporary urban looks. We celebrate fashion history by retaining a vintage sensibility. With the right imagination, we can update a vintage look into something hip and new.

Sretsis - Emporium

SRETSIS, founded in 2002, derived from the bond of sisters - "Sretsis" is "Sisters" spelled backwards!
Childhood play like knitting Barbie outfits and role-playing a stylist for sibling fashion shoot all made sense when Pimdao Sukhahuta learn her way to become a designer at prestigious fashion school Parsons School of Designer, New York.
Although, the sisters combine “Pim”, as the head designer, “Kly”, a magazinista turned fashion marketer, and “Matina” collaborates her jewelry line for each collection.
Pim’s signature style is far from conventional. It’s all about whimsical prints, nostalgic details with a modernday attitude. “We don’t believe in locking up cloths only for special occasions. We want girls to experience the regular joy of dressing up.”
The store reflects all that is girly and glitzy, but the designs are classy and minimalist at the same time. Also, because the clothing and accessories are not too traditionally Thai, Sretsis attracts a host of international clients too.
