Only authorized (with business permit) tour operators / tour guides are eligible to apply for membership.
In the case where the business operator is accredited / approved by other associations, such as:

- Association of Thai Tour Operators (ATTO),
- Federation of Thai Tourism Industry
- Association of Thai Travel Agents (ATTA)
- Provincial tourism association (of each particular province)

Hotels operators must have operating permit issued by a state agency in order to be eligible for membership application.
In the case where the business operator is accredited / approved by other associations, such as:

- Thai Hotels Association (THA)
- Accredited by the THA for the particular provincial hotel
- Is a member of the Association of Thai Travel Agents (ATTA)

Food stores and restaurants operators must have operating permit / certificate from the Department of Health, or Public Health Ministry to be eligible for membership application.
In the case where the business operator is accredited / approved by other associations, such as:

- Accredited by the provincial restaurants association
- Accredited by the Thai restaurants association

Spas operators must have operating permit from the Public Health Ministry, or provincial health centers, to be eligible for membership application.
In the case where the business operator (who applied for membership) is accredited / approved by other associations, such as:

- Accredited by the spas association of Thailand
- Accredited by the provincial / district spas association

Golf courses operators must have operating permits issued by the Commerce Ministry, or approved foreign golf courses to be eligible for membership application. In the case where the business operator (who applied for membership) is accredited / approved by other associations, such as the Thai golf association, or provincial golf association.

Theme parks operators must have operating permits for the particular type of theme park (e.g. amusement park, biological garden, zoo, etc.).
In the case where the business operator (who applied for membership) is accredited / approved by other associations, such as the Association of Thai Travel Agents (ATTA), or amusement and recreation parks association.

Diving operators must have operating permits to teach diving (e.g. international diving certification PADI).
In the case where the business operator (who applied for membership) is accredited / approved by other associations.

Healthcare operators must have operating permit from the Public Health Ministry to be eligible for membership application.
In the case where the business operator (who applied for membership) is accredited / approved by other associations, such as:

Accredited by the healthcare association of Thailand

Car rental operators must have operating permits issued by the Commerce Ministry to be eligible for membership application.
