In 2023, TAT focused on offering more meaningful travel experiences by encouraging travelers to engage with local people, culture, and nature. Looking ahead, we are committed to further shaping Thai tourism into a sustainable and responsible industry, fostering connections that deepen global travelers' understanding and appreciation for the country and its people.

Thailand Meaningful Travel Map

The Tourism Cares Meaningful Travel Map is a B2B tool that helps the travel trade and sustainably-minded travelers easily source organizations making positive social and environmental impacts in destinations.

The Tourism Cares Meaningful Travel Map directly connects the travel trade and sustainably-minded visitors with authentic, community-led enterprises, products, services, accommodations and tours - which we refer to as Impact Partners.

By participating in the Meaningful Travel Map, organizations can:

- Amplify their product, service, tour, or experience to the travel trade, including tour operators, travel advisors and media.

• - Gain economic benefits from tourism by connecting with an expanded network of potential visitors.
• - Create greater impact in their communities through diversified revenue streams.
• - Increase their market share of the growing global demand for sustainable travel experiences.
• - Belong to a global network of like-minded businesses and organizations focused on creating social and environmental impacts within their communities.

There is no cost to our Impact Partners to participate.

This application will assess your eligibility for the Meaningful Travel Map and gather all of the information needed to create your profile. It should take approximately 20 minutes to complete, especially if you have your marketing copy ready. Once finished, we will follow up with you regarding the next steps and, hopefully, to welcome you into our community!
